Noble Wrinkles – A Hymn to the Withering Tulip

It’s mid-May. The sun is shining and warmth fills the air – tulip season in the Netherlands has come to an end.

The tulip is a fleeting beauty: short-lived, yet unforgettable.
Its bloom now faded, the bulb retreats underground, quietly preparing for next spring.

In my studio too, the tulips have wilted – but they died with grace. Wrinkled, noble, and full of quiet poetry…
