An ode to culture and connection.
This art project celebrates the cultural and biological richness of the Canary Islands through seven unique tulip paintings.
Each tulip is represented both physically — displayed across the seven islands — and digitally, as NFT tokens that give collectors the chance to own the original artwork.
Tulipa Canaria bridges two worlds: Dutch tulip tradition and Canarian identity, merging them into one vibrant expression of art, nature, and culture.

The essence of this project lies in cultural exchange — the tulip stands as a symbol of connection.
Seven tulips paintings will find their home across the Canary Islands, each captured in a tempera painting on wood, inspired by the colors and character of its island.
Each tulip is paired with a digital counterpart — 51 NFTs per serie — with every island celebrating a unique aspect of its identity through this blend of art, culture, and technology.
At the ARTCAN2025-26 virtual exhibiton, on 1 November in Tenerife, the first ticket of the painting, Tulipa Tenerifeña, has been presented.
NFT Collectibles

The Tulipa Canaria NFTs are designed as digital tickets that celebrate a cultural aspect of each island – from local festivals to nature and traditions. Each NFT is unique and serves as a key to a special opportunity: holders automatically participate in the lottery to win the physical painting of that island.
The NFT-tickets are now available on Objkt – the NFT art platform.
You can pay by credit card, perfect for art lovers who don’t use crypto but still love collecting digital art!

This makes the NFTs more than just digital collectibles: they become a bridge between the virtual and the tangible, between Canarian culture and Dutch painting tradition.
