Tulipanes de los Muertos

Once a year, in Mexico… the gates between life and death open. During Día de los Muertos, the living and the dead come together to laugh, dance, and share memories. Their evening is welcomed with costumed dolls, painted skulls, skeletons, candlelight, music, and a sea of flowers — flowers for the dead.

In the digital and crypto world, Día de los Muertos is also celebrated — through the series of 99 unique TulipNFTs: Tulipanes de los Muertos — full of drama and humor. These tulips tell stories of lives once lived: of the mayor, the harlot, the rebel, the artist. Of love, loss, and the desire to be remembered.

Like the cempasúchil, these tulips show the way to the living — with a nod to Tulip Mania, a time when flowers were once more valuable than gold.
