Preparing for the Season

The new tulip season is just around the corner. That means it is time to bring the Ninetynine Tulips collection out of storage and prepare the paintings for a new season of exhibitions.

All ninety-nine paintings are carefully dusted off, the frames are gently cleaned with a damp cloth, and each work is inspected before it begins its journey again. After that comes the practical work: numbering the paintings, wrapping them in bubble wrap, and preparing them for transport.

This year the tulips will again travel to several exhibition locations. Each exhibition tells its own story about the tulip — a flower that has inspired artists, collectors and dreamers for centuries 🙂

Soon I will share more about the places where the tulips will appear this season. 🌷
