Together with my neighbour Bart – a carpenter by profession – we hung the first paintings and carefully measured everything out.
Creating an exhibition is not just about painting. It’s also about measuring, drilling, moving things around, and seeing whether the works speak well to each other.
This will be my third year exhibiting at Tulip Experience Amsterdam. A special place, right in the middle of the tulip fields, where visitors from all over the world come by.
The collection is inspired by tulips from the time of Tulip Mania – each tulip with its own story.
A bit more work to do… on March 19 the doors will open again for the public.
